ARIZONA MEMORIAL Visitors to the USS Arizona Memorial will be struck by the somber, reverent atmosphere of this historic site. The memorial, located in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, floats over the remains of the battleship USS Arizona, which was destroyed in the surprise attack by Japan on December 7, 1941. Visitors first watch a short film that provides background on the attack, before boarding a boat to the memorial itself. - Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, the navy may suspend boat operations to the USS Arizona memorial at any time or the Park Serivce may not issue enough tickets for the shuttle to the memorial. In such cases, there will be no refunds. You can still enjoy USS Arizona exhibits, visitors center and park monuments.
