About this experience
Kawaihae is the working harbour at the north end of the Kohala coast, and the trips out of it are shorter, smaller and cheaper than the resort sailings further south. This is a two-hour morning snorkel with a single stop, capped at 28 guests.
The reef along this stretch is healthy and the water is usually calm in the morning. At $115 for an adult it is the lowest-priced guided snorkel we can sell on the Big Island, which makes it the right recommendation for families doing several activities in one week.
