The route begins over Hanapepe Valley, continues to Mana Waiapuna — the waterfall known as Jurassic Park Falls — then up Olokele Canyon and into Waimea Canyon, the 'Grand Canyon of the Pacific'. From there the Nā Pali Coast gives way to the Bali Hai cliffs and the blue water of Hanalei Bay.
