5 zip lines in a circular course at the Maui Tropical Plantation. Beautiful setting, family friendly.

10:00 am 12:30 pm and 3:00 pm

How long does it take to complete the tour?

Plan to spend approx 2-2.5 hours with us. The Zipline tour is approximately 1.5-2 hour in length, plus additional time for check-in, orientation, and training.

What should I wear?

Participants will need to wear close-toed shoes (Sneakers or tennis shoes are best) Comfortable attire and sunscreen are highly recommended.

How much hiking and/or walking is there?

Each tour starts with a short and easy walk on a well-maintained path to our observation platform. No rigorous hiking involved although, participants must be able to climb 4 flights of stairs.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made within 48 hours prior to tour departure will be charged full tour price. "No-shows" will also be charged full tour price. Charges will be applied to the credit card provided.

Do you have side-by-side lines? Can I ride tandem with my child?

Each of our lines are side-by-side so parents/children/couples can zip next to each other at the same time! Participants under 60 pounds might ride tandem with a guide (to be determined at check in).

What are the age and weight restrictions? Can my 5 year old go?

Participants must be at least 5 years of age and between 45 and 230 pounds.

What are the health, safety and physical requirements?

Participants are required to walk short distances, ascend and descend stairs, need to be of average mobility and strength and in reasonably good health. This tour is not suitable for people who are pregnant.

What if I have never done a Zipline course before?

No prior experience is needed. Our highly trained guides will fit you with state of the art equipment and ease you into the course with a training session where everyone will practice with the equipment and learn the techniques before embarking on the tour!

Where are you located? How long does it take to get there?

We are located at Maui Tropical Plantation in Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii.

Do I need to sign a waiver?

Yes, all participants must sign a waiver before participating in the tour. The waivers are provided at check-in. Guests under 18 years of age must have a legal guardian present at check in to sign a waiver for them.

Do you operate in the rain?

Yes, tours run rain or shine however, the course will be closed if there is lightning in the area or there are high winds. Maui Zipline Company reserves the right to cancel tours due to inclement weather, foreseeable hazards, insufficient bookings, or events beyond our control. If we know in advance that we will be closed, we will try to contact you at the contact number you provided to us when you booked your tour. If you tour is cancelled due to weather, you can either rebook for another time, or we will refund your tour cost.

Is it possible to watch without going on tour?

Yes, you are welcome to watch the tour participants from the grounds of Maui Tropical Plantation and from our treehouse overlooking the tropical lagoon.
